Pre-marketing can be a very beneficial tool for some properties. There are options to alert agents and buyers to a new listing both as a coming soon on Compass and the Multiple Listing Service and then again when it hits the open market. Any time there is a status change, those in the market pay attention! There are also times when seller’s circumstances dictate not coming on the Multiple listing service and doing an off market “Compass exclusive” sale.
